At Products are Hard 2012 conference with @GeysaD, @sarahsosiak and WilliamG, learning about the fast success of Pebble on Kickstarter.
The team wanted to raise 100K in 30 days. They hit that in 6 hours and are now at 7MM. Pebble connects by Bluetooth to your iPhone or Android device and is easily setup via downloading the app onto your phone. All software updates are wirelessly transmitted to your Pebble. Neat. You get the standard features such as incoming callerID, email, calendar and weather alerts but they are also building special apps for Pebble. Simple alerts and notifications have been created via if this then that. And there are APIs for those that want to build their own apps. I want one!
