Roomie just informed me that he's moving out at the end of September. It's been six years together and while I'm kind of sad to say goodbye (he's like my little bro), I think it'll be awesome to live alone. At long last I suppose. The extra income from having a roommate would still be great but I want to try this out for awhile.
What to do with the second bedroom though? Turn it into a hooka den?

Yesterday my dear friend, Leila, had a wedding celebration at Heather Farm park under white tents and blue skies. They wed in a private civil ceremony a few days prior; this was a day to share their love with friends and family. Simple, fun and full of all the right things like Pim's summer punch, kegs full of Downtown Brown, kids running barefoot, Southern BBQ, volleyball nets and David Bowie blasting from a boombox.

The fabulous thing about the internet other than porn (as-if!), is how easy it is to find secret presale codes for concerts. After posting a Facebook meme on "My life according to the Pixies", Michele emailed that the Pixies were coming to Fox Theater in Oakland. I checked the day before the presale started and found two blog posts with codes that didn't seem very legit. But sure enough, several hours after the sale began, the top result on Google had the correct presale code. Awesome.
General admission for the Sunday show was already sold out but I was able to score tickets for Monday, November 9th. The Pixies plan to play their entire Doolittle album in the set. OMFG!! It's been so long since I've seen an old band that I luuuurve. It's going to be super fab especially since some of my favorite girlfriends will be there too.
Dance. Dance. Dance.
