Is the two hour wait on weekend nights worth it for the ramen? No, but the thirty minute wait on Sunday afternoon definitely was! Such a lively spot with communal tables and yummy sake options. The Akamura ramen with the miso ball was amazing. @nickjordan ordered the special ramen with smoked oyster sauce and monk liver. Sounded kind of gross but @annieluc said all special ramens must be tried. Thank goodness we listened because that soup base was amazing. I also ordered the pork buns that folks were raving about but found them to be just okay. Can't wait to come here again on my next trip to NYC!
