Am suddenly inspired to go home and decorate. Kateri dropped off photographs that I purchased from her show last year. I won't show you which ones, you'll have to come see for yourself. They're rad. I forgot how much I loved them until I saw them sitting pretty on my desk this morning.
On top of that, the prints I ordered from 20x200 came in at lunchtime. I purchased two variations of Lauren DiCioccio's: color codification dot drawings. Her source materials are based from fashion mags. She assigns a color to every letter in the alphabet, lays frosted mylar over a magazine page, and applies tiny dots of paint over
every character on the page.
Lovely. She calls it "a system of Braille for the color inclined".
